Making an appointment in advance for Writing Center services (Directed Learning Activities, tutoring sessions, study groups, and workshops) is strongly recommended.  Students without appointments will be offered the next open slot or put on a stand-by list and seen as soon as possible.  Please check in a few minutes before scheduled appointments.  Late arrivals may lose their slot to a student on standby.  You may set no more than one workshop appointment, one tutoring appointment, and one Directed Learning Activity at a time and per day.  Workshop appointments especially tend to fill up fast.  You are welcome to set appointments up to six business days in advance.   

The Writing Center accepts requests for appointments during our regular hours.  Appointments are available Monday thru Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.  The last tutoring session appointment is at 7:15 p.m., and the last Directed Learning Activity appointment  is at 7:30 p.m.  Appointments are available on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The last tutoring session appointment is at 1:15 p.m., and the last Directed Learning Activity appointment is at 1:30 p.m.  Call (909) 652-6820 or walk into the Writing Center to make an appointment.
