Chaffey is changing course management systems from Blackboard to Moodle. This will be a gradual change over the summer and fall 2010 semesters. During these semesters some courses will be on Blackboard and some will be on Moodle. To determine which system your course will be on, please see the list below.

Whether your course is on Blackboard or Moodle, you will only be able to access an online course only when you are officially registered in the class. You will be able to log in to your online class after noon on the first scheduled day of the class. If you have added an online course after the first day of the class, it will take at least one business day after you visit admissions and records before you will be able to access the course on Blackboard or Moodle. Blackboard and Moodle are on two separate servers, so if you update your information on one, you will need to repeat the process on the other.

Log in with your username and password, the format is the same regardless of the system.

Username: Your username is your Chaffey 7-digit student ID number (this is different than your SSN).
     EXAMPLE: John Smith, ID# 1234567 would have the username of 1234567. INITIALS ARE NOT REQUIRED.

Password: Your initial password is your six digit date-of-birth in the mmddyy format.
     EXAMPLE: John Smith's date-of-birth is May 30, 1989. His password would be 053089.
