Online Courses

StudentsOnline classes are attended exclusively on the Internet; there are no campus meeting dates. Some online classes require specific dates or times for interactive Internet class activities; instructors provide details of these requirements in the class syllabus. The beginning and end dates for each online section are listed.

Hybrid classes are a combination of online and classroom instruction, where you meet with the instructor at the designated location on the days and times stated for the section in the schedule of classes. While most hybrid sections meet face-to-face weekly, some hybrids meet only a few times during the semester. Check the description for each course section to determine the dates and times you must attend on-campus meetings.

Students enrolled in an online or hybrid class access their course logging on to either Blackboard or Moodle. Courses with a location of INET-B are on Blackboard. Courses with a location code of INET-M are on Moodle. Access is available after noon on the first scehduled day of the class. Students should check their course schedule in ChaffeyVIEW or their registration receipt for course start dates.

Students who are waitlisted or interested in adding an online class should contact the instructor using the links in the course descriptions. The links will be available the week prior to the start of the class. Please click on the Waitlisted and Adding link on the right right for more information about the waitlisted and adding instructor contact process.
