 Chaffey College School of Visual, Performing, and Communication Arts 5885 Haven Avenue Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737 909/652-6066 | Program Description COMMERCIAL MUSIC The commercial music major is designed to give students a two-year background in professional and commercial music concepts and practices with an emphasis on theory and vocational performance potential. Successful completion of the program may also enable students to complete the baccalaureate program to a California State University or University of California. Career Opportunities Recording engineer, music programmer (synthesis), studio musician (vocal and instrument), arranger, copyist, songwriter, music retail (instrument/sheet music).
