Doublecheck that you are typing in your Chaffey ID number and date of birth in the proper format:
Your seven-digit Chaffey ID number (no initials) goes in the first box and your six-digit
birthdate (two numbers for the month, two for the day, and the
last two numbers of the year) with no slashes, spaces, or anything
else between the numbers goes in the second box.
Are you currently registered for a class at Chaffey this semester, and are your fees
paid? If not, you will not be able to get access to AGent. Keep
in mind that records are only updated once a day, so you will not
be able to access AGent until the business day after you have registered and
paid.
Do you have library fines of over $10.00 or any overdue library books? If so, your access to AGent may be blocked. Library fines can be paid at the Circulation Desk.
If you are currently
enrolled and you are still unable to login, please contact the Reference Desk (phone: (909)652-6808 or (909)652-8115, email: library@chaffey.edu) and a librarian can assist you.
Are you having problems accessing eBooks-NetLibrary?
eBooks-NetLibrary, will often prompt users for a username and password when trying to access it off campus, even if you have successfully logged in through AGent.
Creating an ebooks-Netlibrary account (Note: you need to do this process at one of the centers or the Rancho campus):
1. From the front page of ebooks-NetLibrary, click on the link labeled “Create a Free Account” in the upper right of the screen.
2. This will take you to a form to fill out. Make sure that each area of the form with a red asterisk is filled out, otherwise you will get an error message when the form is submitted.
3. Keep a record of your user name and password. It will be good for a semester.
If the Library is open, you can call the Reference Desk at (909)652-6808 or (909)652-8115 and a librarian can create an account for you as long as you are currently a student here at Chaffey. Or, email us at library@chaffey.edu.
