Atlases are collections of maps put together in book form.

The oversize atlases are located on the west side of the first floor of the Library, next to the Study Tables and Information Research Center. Smaller format atlases may be found in the Reference Book Collection.

The library also has gazetteers, which are geographical dictionaries containing descriptive, historical, or statistical information. Like the smaller format atlases, gazetteers are located in the Reference Book Collection.
