This program, leading to an Associate in Science Degree
with a major in Nursing, is approved by the California Board of Registered
Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting

The nurse assistant is an important member of the health
care team who provides direct care to patients in sub-acute, acute,
and home health settings. All Certified Nurse Assistant's function
under the supervision of the Licensed Nurse. Programs are approved
by the Department of Public Health of the State of California.
The Vocational Nurse is a care giver in acute and extended
care facilities. In addition, VNs are employed in home health care,
emergency clinics and as reviewers of health care utilization. The
Vocational Nursing (VN) program is accredited by the State of California
Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).
