Do I need to be a part of DPS to receive the services I need for my disability?

No. Participation in DPS is voluntary (but it is easier to work through the program for accommodations because the staff in the program is specifically trained in analyzing your needs). Should you not desire to be in DPS and still require services, you will need to contact the College's 504 Compliance Officer.

For more information, contact the people in the Disabled Student Programs and Services office.
