When should I see a counselor?

Students are required to meet with a counselor to develop their Student Educational Plan (SEP) within six months of starting at Chaffey. The SEP helps students achieve their goals by identifying courses they should take according to their chosen field of study, educational background, and assessment results. Counselors can also assist students in adjusting to college, deciding on a major toward a career, and evaluating academic progress. They help students select courses needed to graduate and or/ to transfer.

For more information, contact the people in the Counseling office.
