If I don't pay my fees will I be dropped from my classes?
|
If you register for classes during priority registration, registration for continuing
students, and/or registration for returning students, fees should be paid by the
published payment deadline to avoid classes being dropped.
However, if you register for classes during walk-in registration and/or late registration, fees are due the same day that you register. If fees are not paid, YOU (the student) MUST officially drop your classes on or before the appropriate refund deadline to avoid being financially obligated to pay fees.
Do not rely on the instructor to drop you from the class if you do not attend the
first class meeting or any meetings. Outstanding fess become past due and will result in a restriction on the students’ account, preventing them from receiving grades, transcripts, receiving diplomas and registration for future semesters until fees have been cleared. Also, failure to ignore any outstanding fee notices will result in the student’s name being submitted to the Franchise Tax Board for Collections for balances owed to Chaffey College.
