- Attitude in the Workplace
This class will help participants to Conquer Negativity, Improve Performance, and Enhance productivity. This class is designed to provide the participant with certain key skills so that they may effectively maintain a positive attitude in the workplace.
- Change Management
Recognizing the impact that change will have on employees and other stakeholders is vital to the change process. Participants will be able to identify the actions people can take to enable a positive response to the change, as well as understand the forces causing the change and the implications on the organization. The class Participants will also discuss some of the opportunities created by the change, and address what, if any resistance they have to change.
- Conflict Management
This class is designed with the idea of taking a positive approach to conflict. Participants will engage in discussion, activities, case analysis, lecture, problem solving and presentations dealing with conflict. This class will show participants the strategies or techniques used in resolving conflict and will focus on five ‘conflict handling’ modes.
- Customer Service
Discover what customers really want. The class is designed to provide the participant with pre-identified skills and attitudes in order to effectively provide quality customer service, internally and externally. Participants will identify, define and implement the tools to provide superior customer service. The participants will be introduced to the most important qualities that Americans desire in customer service such as understanding and exceeding customer expectations. The focus of this class will be on what we ‘can do’ instead of what we ‘can’t do’ to serve the customer.
- Delegation Techniques
The focus of this class is to highlight the value of effective delegation. Participants will learn how to identify appropriate tasks to delegate and the proper person to receive the task. Additionally, participants will develop skills to manage the delegation process and learn how to balance tasks between the team. Participants will also learn the importance of, and methods for, delegation follow-up.
- Effective Communication
This class will focus on understanding differences in communication. Topics will include some of the following: verbal and nonverbal communication, barriers to effective communication, listening skills and speaking in the positive
- Leadership
Having strong leaders is critical to any successful organization. The class begins by defining leadership and its impact on productivity and performance. Participants will learn to understand and apply their personal values and leadership styles in the workplace.
- Managing a High Performance Workplace
Class will focus on identifying tools and methods for engaging employees in the decision-making process. Class will explore best practices for selecting, managing, training, developing, rewarding and supporting high performance teams. The class will discuss methods for measuring performance and learn goal-setting techniques that set high standards of performance and clear expectations of employees.
- Positive Mentoring and Coaching
Participants will discuss how to identify and implement various coaching styles, analyze the cost of turnover and the role coaching and mentoring contributes, understand how successful coaching and mentoring will boost performance and discuss various strategies to develop employees.
- Presentation Skills
Participants will be able to understand and assess their natural presentation style and learn to adapt their natural presentation style to various situations. Additionally, participants will identify strategies that will allow them to present themselves and/or their ideas more effectively. We will also discuss and develop presentation etiquette.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
Problem Solving and Decision Making is the key to making effective decisions. The class will focus on decision making and problem solving techniques and the steps used in the decision making process. Some of the topics include: understanding the role of the decision maker, individual and group decision making, blocks to problem solving and creativity.
- Project Management
This training will show participants how to calculate the critical path for a project and develop a strategy for keeping the project on track. Participants will learn how to effectively manage project risks and create a communication plan for reporting project progress and issues.
- Sales Skills
Our sales training focuses on selling smarter, not harder. This program can be geared towards entry - level sales associates up to the executive sales team and will be customized to produce results within your specific industry. This program focuses on the critical skills necessary to be effective in sales including, developing leads, cultivating relationships, the power of networking and closing techniques.
- Six Sigma
Six Sigma is a disciplined, data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects in any process.
- Stress Management
This class is designed to acquaint the participant with key elements of stress management. The class will provide an understanding of the causes and affects of stress on a person's life. Topics include some of the following: recognition of stress, the causes of stress, and benefits of stress management. Emphasis will be placed on the multitude of ways to handle stress in order to have a more productive professional and private life.
- Teamwork/Team building
Teamwork is the backbone of any organization. Learning how to build a team from a group is how this interactive training class begins. The participants will be able to identify the characteristics of an effective team as well as recognize and address team dysfunction and its affects on productivity. The class will also focus on understanding the process and obstacles to team problem solving and decision making. Participants will learn new strategies while engaging in various team-building exercises.
- Time Management & Delegation
The productivity of individuals and organizations hinges greatly on their ability to manage time efficiently. The class will introduce participants to time management principals and tools such as how to prioritize, identifying time wasters, and goal setting. Good time management increases both employee output and organizational competitiveness. Additionally, the class will explore the skill of delegation. The ability to delegate tasks is an essential skill. Participants will discuss the value of effective delegation, learn how to identify appropriate tasks to delegate and the proper person to receive the task, and then develop the skills to manage the delegation process.
- Values Ethics
This class will introduce participants to the importance of ethics and values in the workplace. Emphasis will be placed on how values influence actions, evaluating one’s ethical behaviors, and helping others do the right thing.
- VESL ** Not paid under ETP
Vocational English as a Second Language (VESL) training is one highly effective way for manufacturing, logistics, and other workers to communicate more productively with supervisors, leads, and co-workers. Teams can’t exist without communication. VESL training helps workers understand commonly used American idioms, conversation patterns, and job-related vocabulary. This training is vital for employers concerned with safety in the workplace.
