Welcome!

The Counseling staff will help you get off to the right start at Chaffey College. Through assessment, orientation and counseling, we will evaluate your skill levels, introduce you to the programs and services we have to offer, and help you select appropriate courses according to your abilities and interests. If you take advantage of the information provided, you will be able to:

1. Apply what you know about your likes, interests, and dreams to chart an educational course at the college level.
2. Select classes for a certificate, associate degree, and/or transfer program.
3. Better understand the terminology associated with college programs.

LOCATION

The Counseling Department is located on the Rancho Cucamonga Campus in the Student Services / Administration (SSA) building. Our office is on the north side of the first floor.

ASSESSMENT TESTING

All new students are encouraged to complete the assessment test in math, English, and reading. The Assessment Test is offered by appointment only at each of our three campus locations. For more information about Assessment Testing and to make an appointment online now, please click here.

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION

All new students to Chaffey College must sign up for the New Sudent Orientation, which provides information to students about enrollment procedures, programs of study, student services, and other college resources. At the end of the orientation, you will be given an opportunity to meet with an academic counselor to select courses for your first term.
