Purpose |
|
To advise and provide expertise on issues related to the instructional needs of the Child Development Department and on issues related to the administration of a college child care/child development program. |

Scope |
|
To solicit input and information from community, parent, campus, professional, and public agency personnel. To make recommendations and take action regarding Child Development Department and Children's Center issues. |

Terms of Office |
|
Selected chairperson serves a one year term. Term can be extended for an additional year of service. Committee members serve a three year term. Term of membership may be extended. |

Committee meets once in the fall and once in the spring. Location varies: committee meets either on campus or at a local restaurant. Notice of meeting day, time, and location is sent to committee members at least one week prior to the meeting. |
