To recommend reasonable academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities. |

Scope |
|
The committee's charge is to review student accommodation requests within 30 days of the request. The committee recommends to the superintendent/president an accommodation that will assist the student in successfully completing the academic objectives without compromising academic standards. |

As the DPS representative, DE Creasy Valdez is a standing member of the committee. Jeff Brouwer is the Faculty Senate representative. Renee Ketchum is the Faculty Senate alternate representative. Tim Arner is the Math Department appointee. Other faculty participation is requested as determined by the discipline. |

Meeting Day & Time |
|
The committee meets on an as needed basis, usually two (2) or three (3) times an academic year, depending on the number of requests received. Days and times vary depending on member's schedules. |
