About the Program:

The Retail Management Certificate is specially recognized program designed to prepare individuals for the fast-paced retail industry. This program is also intended to help students develop an understanding of the retail manager's job and the requirements for success in the retail environment. This includes an:

• Increased Knowledge of the Retail Industry
• Improved Business/Professional Skills
• Enhanced Employability/Promotability

What are the Benefits?

Students who take this curriculum will enhance their opportunities for employment and/or advancement in a retail career. Graduates of the Retail Management Program may apply for a special certificate from the Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC) and be eligible to receive a $200 honorarium.

• Job seekers interested in a retail career
• Current Students interested in a retail career
• Individuals already employed in a retail company
• Those interested in career advancement.

Are the Classes Transferable?

Many courses in the Retail Management Certificate program transfer to four-year colleges or universities, however each college is different. If you wish to transfer and pursue a four-year degree, be certain to talk with a Chaffey College Counselor.
