Industrial Electrical Technology

About the Program
Industrial Electricity ~ Electromechanical Technology ~ Instrumentation Technology

ElectromechanicalTechnology:

The Electromechanical Technology program curriculum covers electricity, hydraulics, pressure and force, pneumatics, cylinder controls, basic PLC, troubleshooting, sensors, automation including modern sophisticated concepts, and practical applications.

Level 1 Certificate (15 Units)*:

Prepares Students for entry-level employment in robotics.

IETELMT 430	Hydraulic Fundamentals	2
IETELMT 432	Electrical Control of Hydraulic Systems	2

Level 2 Certificate (22 Units)*:

Prepares the studen to become an assistant-technician for installing, programming, and repairing robots and related equipment. Students learn how Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) can be used to control hydraulic applications. Students are also introduced to Peneumatics (air power).

Level III Certificate (25.5 Units)*

Qualifies students to work as technicians in hyrdraulics and pneumatics. Students learn advanced information about the function of hydraulic and pneumatic componets and the control of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Associate in Science Degree - Industrial Electrical Technology: Instrumentation Technology*

Same as Level III, with fillfilled General Education Requirements from Chaffey College.
